Changing name is alot of work.

Hi ya'll! Dropping in to let you all know that I'm around. I don't have alot of time tonight as Michael and I have to get through some paperwork from work. I/We are changing some of my benefits around since getting married and we have to get that taken care of because paperworktime is running out to make the changes.. Changing my name is a big ordeal....you never think about all the places you have to change it....bank, MVA , social security, mail, work, and the list goes on. Mine is incredibly long. Ugh! And I am not a person who likes doing this type of work.

As we all know Mothers Day is coming up this weekend. What plans do you girls have? Unfortunately I will not be with my kids this year, but I am sure we share the time as soon as we can. Maybe the following weekend or one night throughout the next week. Anyhow, I have been doing alot of reading on mothers and by mothers, and that leads me to one of my favorite comedian moms Anita Renfroe. anita renfroe Have you ever heard of her. She is simply wonderful. Adding a little mothers humor her if you haven't heard this before take a listen.

I know most women that are mothers can relate, and my kids love this.

Gotta get to work....hope you all have a blessed evening. Hugs for now!

  1. That was hilarious:-) Have you ever seen her live? I haven't seen her at all, although I do recognize her, just didn't know her name.

  3. Hi,
I have had Anita on my blog at the bottom for a while because I like her too! She was here in Seattle last month but I didn't get to see her. I think it was the day that it was snowing (of course). HUGS

  4. Hi MRS!!! I am finally getting back into the blogging world. I have missed seeing everyone so much. Sounds like you had a wonderful wedding and honeymoon! Can't wait to see more pictures. Ron and I have been doing many home improvements over the last couple of weeks, but I feel like my house is finally starting to be the way I have wanted it to be! Hope you are enjoying your Mothers day! Big hugs

  7. Hey Sweet Cindy!

Happy Belated Mother's Day to you... too bad your kids weren't there to celebrate you on the day but I'm sure they celebrated you before or after ;-)

This was my first Mother's Day celebration in 5 years now that I have a "new" Mom to honor! It's also the first Mother's Day that not being a Mom didn't bug me. God is SOOOOO Good!!

I haven't had a chance to hear your video yet, but I will when I get a chance. From Denise's comments it sounds like a goodie!!

Hope the name change thing goes easily for you! Feels like 100 years since I had to do all that ;-)

    Hugs xo

  8. Hi Cindy....Hope your Mother's Day was special & that you do get to spend time with your kids this week.

Hope that name change goes smoothly. Yeah, I guess when you think about it, there is a 'lot' of stuff that has to be done with a name change.

I'm gonna go listen to the youtube now. Have a blessed day! Hugs!
