Normal days at home

L
ately there seems to way to much going on.  Whether it is things to do, to get marked off the infamous “errand list” or places to go for those in need. Many of my family and friends are going through some difficult and painful times, which has added some extra activity.  And top of all that, I have much to do with thinking about “our future move”…to where, who knows…. but I know I have a itch to move on and get settled wherever God decides to plant us.

For me, there really doesn’t look like a lot of slow down time for me in the future.  So for me, today I am thankful for just a normal day at home, just taking care of my home.

  3. I love a day at home just doing whatever needs to be done and if the sun is shining in through the window, what could be better?

  8. Cindy - yes those normal days at home are a true blessing. I was hoping for one of those this evening, when my washer went on the blink and I had to make a quick run to the laudromat to finish a load of wet towels. But as I told my husband, I'm thankful that I don't have to wash things by hand.

    Blessings,
    Joan
